Dennie Bright is a freelance artist, illustrator, and animator based in New York. Dennie likes to sleep, eat, and draw, but not necessarily in that order. He also thoroughly enjoys lounge music from the 50’s and 60’s. Occasionally he will play the video games, and watch the television shows.

How often do you update?
I try to update my main site as much as I can, hopefully one day I’ll update once every week. As for my blog I try to post random blog comics monday thru friday. If I don’t update just yell at me.

Do you accept commissions?
Yep! I accept commissions, feel free to shoot me an email using the email button over to the right. Just put the word“COMMISSION” in the subject line.

What do you use to create your art?
I either draw with ink (Yasutomo Sumi-e ink) or Micron pens, I’m also a big fan of moleskine notebooks. When I’m on the computer I stick with my Cintiq 21ux and use Photoshop, or play around with PaintStop in Zbrush. Though, one does not need these tools to create art. All you need is a pen, a piece of paper, a pocket full of dreams, and maybe some rainbows.

What is your education?
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago.
